Sally Brown, MS LPC profile

I believe that every person deserves a space where they feel truly seen, understood, and supported. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of where to begin — and my goal is to meet you exactly where you are. In our work together, we focus on understanding how you think and process the world around you, celebrating your unique strengths, and building sustainable, practical strategies that fit your life.

My approach is grounded in feminist and humanistic values. Together, we'll explore how social expectations, power dynamics, identity, and systemic pressures shape your mental health — because your challenges are not personal flaws, but experiences that exist within a larger social and cultural context. I bring deep empathy and curiosity to every session, and I view therapy as a true partnership where your voice is always central. I also weave in mindfulness and grounding techniques to help you manage difficult emotions and stay connected to your mind and body in the present moment.
