About Robert Horn, MSW LCSW
Clinical Therapist
As a therapist, I believe in meeting each client exactly where they are in their unique journey, recognizing that healing and growth occur at different paces for different individuals. My approach is grounded in client-centered care, with a focus on a strengths-based perspective that honors each person's inherent capacity for resilience and transformation. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and develop the tools they need to thrive. I believe that sustainable change happens when we acknowledge and build upon existing strengths while addressing challenges with compassion and practical strategies.
I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations across multiple settings in my career. My professional background has given me a unique perspective on human development and the importance of individualized support across all stages of life. After receiving my MSW in New York, I worked in Vermont in an integrated healthcare setting, and shortly after returned to Connecticut where I provided individual therapy for individuals struggling with various mental health needs, often complex and occurring in tandem with substance use and significant trauma histories.

Rob first experienced life in Colorado while earning his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2016. Rob then went back to the east coast to earn a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2022. While working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the following years, Rob had always felt a calling to end up back here in Colorado, and is now proud to once again be able to call Colorado home.
When not in session, Rob thoroughly enjoys spending time outdoors and listening to music, often at the same time. He feels that hiking, camping, and snowboarding all allow an ideal space to practice mindfulness, and in fostering ongoing appreciation, humility, and connection with all of the beauty that exists within the natural world.
