About Emily DiModugno, MSW LCSW

Clinical Therapist

As a therapist, I believe that therapy is one of the hardest and most rewarding journeys you can undertake. My approach combines empathy and encouragement with truthfulness and a hint of sass. I value directness as a path to helping clients reach their fullest potential, asking the challenging questions that reveal your authentic self.

Together, we'll build a collaborative relationship grounded in honest communication. Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic space that balances security, growth, and acceptance—all with a touch of humor along the way.

Specialties:

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Services from Quinnipiac University and my Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. My professional background includes work in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) specializing in Eating Disorders and General Mental Health concerns.

When I'm not in session, you can find me traveling to new destinations, hiking scenic trails, preparing home-cooked meals, and getting lost in a good book.
